Tortillas

Tortillas


3 ¼ C. whole wheat flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

(oil to equal 6 Tbps. Shortening – 4 FULL Tbsp. oil)

1 C. Luke-warm water


Knead until soft. Divide into 12 equal balls. Cover with plastic & let it rest for 15 minutes. Roll each ball into a thin circle & cook until you see brown spots on ungreased, non-stick grill-type pan.
