Mom's Corn Bread

Mom’s Corn Bread


400 degrees, 20-25 minutes in greased pan


In a 2-cup measuring cup:
9 oz. flour
9 oz. cornmeal
1/3 C. instant milk powder (or 1/4 C. regular milk powder)
1/8-1/4 C. sugar (optional)


If NOT using Self-Rising Flour, ADD:
1 TBLS. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
If USING Self-Rising Flour,
do NOT add baking powder and salt.


Also add:
3 eggs
9 oz. water
1/3 C. oil
