 Apple Crisp

Filling:

4 C. cooking apples, sliced (peeled optional)


Topping:

1 C. oatmeal, uncooked

1/3 C. Flour (rice flour works too)

1/2 C. Packed brown sugar

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1/3 C. Butter

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the apple slices in 9x9 inch greased casserole dish. Combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix melted butter with dry ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake for about 30 minutes or until apples are tender.


Makes 8 servings. 


Each serving contains 205 calories, 2 g protein, 19 g carbs, 7.5 g fat, 159mg sodium, 4g fiber.
